Sometimes the biggest games come completely out of nowhere and that’s exactly what happened with Gamble With Your Friends. A small indie project from Swedish studio TENSTACK has suddenly become one of Steam’s hottest multiplayer games, selling an impressive 600,000 copies in less than a week after launch.

Gamble With Your Friends is basically a chaotic co-op casino crawler built around terrible decisions, shared debt, and panic. You and up to five friends enter a bizarre casino tower with one goal: somehow make enough money to pay off a dangerous loan shark before time runs out. The catch is that your entire team shares one bank account.

That means every reckless all-in bet affects everyone. One friend gets greedy at roulette or burns cash on some questionable item, and suddenly the whole group is scrambling to recover before the day ends. It’s the kind of setup that naturally creates hilarious moments, arguments, and complete disasters in the best possible way.

Each in-game “day” only lasts five minutes, which keeps the pace fast and stressful. During that time, players bounce between different gambling games like blackjack, slots, roulette, and Plinko while trying to complete challenges and survive increasingly chaotic situations across four themed casino floors.

Right now, the game is sitting at “Very Positive” on Steam, with players mostly praising how fun it becomes with a group of friends. The general consensus seems to be that this isn’t really a solo experience, it’s the kind of game that shines when everyone is yelling at each other over voice chat after one catastrophic bet destroys the run.
