Gutted: Infested Crypts Looks Like a Horror Shooter Straight Out of Your Nightmares

Developed by SLAM AWAY GAMES, first-person horror shooter Gutted: Infested Crypts throws you into a cemetery hiding something far worse beneath its surface. Deep below the graves lies a sprawling network of crypts consumed by insects, rotting flesh, and a growing infestation that has transformed the underground into a living nightmare.

The game combines brutal gunplay with exploration, forcing you to navigate nearly pitch-black environments using a flashlight that is far from reliable. Every sound becomes a potential threat, whether it’s the skittering of unseen creatures, distant screams, or the unsettling silence that often arrives before something attacks.

Recent gameplay footage released during Steam Next Fest showcases exactly the kind of experience horror fans can expect. Combat is violent and impactful, with enemies being torn apart through graphic dismemberment and heavy weaponry. At the same time, the environments create a constant sense of dread, making every step deeper into the crypts feel dangerous.

Gutted: Infested Crypts is scheduled to launch on Steam on August 17, 2026. A demo is already available, giving horror fans a chance to experience the terror for themselves before release.
