At Summer Game Fest 2025, Amazing Seasun Games announced the release date for Mecha Break, its long-awaited online mecha shooter. The game is set to launch on July 1, 2025, for PC via Steam and Xbox Series X/S. The release date was accompanied by a new trailer showcasing fast-paced combat and gorgeous mecha designs, continuing the excitement generated by the hugely successful global open beta earlier this year.

Set in an alternative future, Mecha Break plunges you into a world where factions fight for control of Corite. This toxic yet vital mineral is the last energy source on Earth. Due to its dangerous nature, only large, adaptable Mechs can handle Corite. The story unfolds after a global catastrophe caused by a Solar Mass Ejection from the Sun, which triggered geological disasters and dangerously spread Corite. This conflict drives the game’s narrative, and you pilot the third generation of BREAK Strikers in battle against various factions.

Mecha Break offers three distinct modes: the 3v3 Ace Arena for tense competitive skirmishes, the 6v6 Operation VERGE focused on team coordination, and a PvPvE extraction mode called Mashmak, where up to 60 players can fight against enemies and environmental hazards. Additionally, you can choose from five Mecha classes: Attacker, Defender, Supporter, Brawler, and Sniper, each with unique abilities. Furthermore, you can customize your Mechs with new colors, decals, and weapons.

The open beta in February this year attracted over 300,000 concurrent players on Steam, and fans on social media called the game a “love letter to mecha fantasy,” praising its smooth controls and customization options. However, there are concerns about microtransactions, which Amazing Seasun Games has promised to address before launch.
