Trigger Happy Interactive, the studio behind the game Turbo Overkill, has announced that their upcoming survival horror title Total Chaos will be released on July 24, 2025, for PC via Steam. The game is published by Apogee Entertainment and promises a psychologically intense experience. For those who want to dive even deeper into the horrors, a special VR version comes with the base game, allowing players to step directly into this nightmare.
In Total Chaos, you play as a lost coast guard, adrift on an endless sea, who finds himself within a distorted reality. Seeking shelter, the protagonist arrives on the haunted shores of Fort Oasis, a long-abandoned mining community shrouded in mist and decay. Guided only by a distant, intermittent voice on a walkie-talkie, you must explore this creepy location, but the question is, can that voice be trusted?
The ruins of Fort Oasis hide unspeakable horrors in the shadows. To survive, you will have to scavenge for essential resources and craft gear in abandoned apartments, decaying facilities, rusty corridors, and terrifying graveyards. The Madness system distorts perception, blurring the line between reality and hallucination, while shifting walls and hidden pathways reveal precious loot but are simultaneously guarded by grotesque monstrous creatures.
