You know the South Korean gaming giant KRAFTON? Despite recently sparking controversy with Subnautica 2, the company hasn’t slowed down, they’ve now announced a free DLC for inZOI titled Cahaya. The base game will cost 39.99 € during Early Access, but all upcoming DLCs, including the Cahaya update, will be free until the full release. The first trailer for this expansion will premiere during Opening Night Live on August 19, one day before Gamescom officially begins.

The new map, inspired by the tropical cities of Southeast Asia, promises to enrich the experience with fresh, dynamic, and realistic content. The main island offers activities such as farming and fishing, while the resort island is ideal for relaxation and leisure. According to KRAFTON, the trailer will showcase how the expansion broadens the possibilities for creating unique stories within the game.

Gamescom Opening Night Live, held on August 19, serves as the official introduction to Gamescom, the world’s largest gaming expo, taking place from August 20 to 24 in Cologne. Last year’s event attracted nearly 40 million viewers both live and online, making it the perfect platform for major announcements.

Visitors at Hall 7 of Koelnmesse will be able to try out Cahaya through hands-on demos, participate in various activities, and win exclusive inZOI-themed rewards such as towels, sunglasses, and luggage tags. Players who complete the demo, share a photo from the booth on social media, and subscribe to the inZOI YouTube channel will receive exclusive in-game items for Cahaya.
