The high-speed motorcycle racing game LANESPLIT, made by solo developer FunkyMouse, is racing toward its release. The game will launch on PC via Steam on January 28, 2026 with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions planned for a later date.

LANESPLIT puts you on powerful sportbikes and challenges you to race at extreme speeds while moving through traffic. The goal is not just to go fast, but to read the road ahead and react in an instant. You race across different locations around the world, including busy city highways, mountain roads, and long coastal routes. At these speeds, a single mistake can mean a deadly crash, so success depends on focus, timing, and finding a smooth rhythm on the road.

Traffic plays a major role in every race since players must squeeze between trucks, cars that change lanes, and other vehicles that follow real traffic rules. The game features fifteen different sportbikes, each with its own handling and physics. Weather also changes how each race feels as dry roads favor bikes built for speed and sharp turns, while rainy conditions demand better grip and stronger brakes.
