Witchbrook is an upcoming magical life simulation RPG being developed and published by Chucklefish, known for titles such as Starbound, Wargroove, and Stardew Valley. According to the latest information from the Nintendo Direct on April 2nd, it has been confirmed that Witchbrook will be released on the Nintendo Switch 2 alongside other platforms this winter.

This is a unique cozy RPG where players take on the role of a magic student at Witchbrook College, located in the vibrant coastal town of Mossport. The game combines school elements with social simulation, and is often compared to Stardew Valley and a world inspired by Harry Potter. Online co-op for up to four players will also be available, allowing you to experience various adventures together.

The first gameplay trailer was shown during the Nintendo Direct on March 27th, showcasing the vibrant world of Mossport, including classrooms, forests, and customizable houses. Cozy mechanics such as levitating furniture and stargazing were particularly highlighted. In the game, you will also participate in mini-games, build relationships with diverse characters (romantic options are included), and attend magical classes to learn spells, brew potions, and participate in rituals.

Witchbrook will be simultaneously available on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
