The debut game from CryoGX, Advent Neon, was shown at the Get Excited About Showcase last week, accompanied by a new trailer confirming its PC release via Steam on July 18, 2025. This high-speed platformer stars Neon, a robotic protagonist on a mission to recover his creator’s body in the futuristic city of Neopolis.
You’ll speed through levels reminiscent of Sonic, battling waves of enemies across diverse environments. The game features flashy directional attacks typical of the genre, along with combo moves and eight-direction dash mechanics to overcome obstacles. The developer calls this movement style “schmovement,” offering fluid mobility through jumps, wall-running, and traditional platforming.
