Development studio Level Up Games Studio and publisher Troglobytes Games are bringing the eerie new title Little Lighthouse of Horror to PC. This atmospheric 2D psychological horror game, inspired by the real-life disappearance of lighthouse keepers from the Flannan Isles, is set to release on Steam on January 28, 2025. In the game, you take on the role of Lawrence, a lighthouse keeper who must maintain the light.
In Little Lighthouse of Horror, you must keep the lighthouse light burning while battling the physical and psychological challenges of isolation. As Lawrence, you will face hunger, fatigue, and an unsettling sense of loneliness. The game introduces a Sanity system where strange occurrences within the lighthouse slowly erode Lawrence’s mental state.
Survival depends on clever resource management. Food, oil, and spare parts are limited, so you must use your supplies wisely. A flag system allows Lawrence to signal for a delivery, but requires careful planning to avoid running out of crucial resources at critical moments. Set in the 1920s, Little Lighthouse of Horror uses detailed pixel graphics and an eerie audio design to create a world that is both beautiful and terrifying.
