Lost Twins II Brings Cute Puzzle Adventure to Consoles and PC This August

Side-scrolling puzzle adventure Lost Twins II from Pakistani-based studio Playdew is launching on August 14. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.

You will guide two characters, Abi and Ben, on their journey to find a way back home. This quest takes place across a whimsical, blocky world that has been carefully created by the developers. The story hints at a mysterious creature, the Fenghuang, which may either be leading them home or sending them deeper into trouble.

The puzzles in Lost Twins II are meant to make you feel smart. They are challenging enough to be a good test but are also logical, so you can figure them out after a few tries. The core of the game is a unique sliding puzzle mechanic, which is supported by other features like pressure switches, water gates, breakable domes, and lifts.

The focus is on discovery, tinkering, and exploration, rather than on fighting or threats. There are no timers, enemies, or dialogue to read, just a beautiful, poetic world full of puzzles that will challenge your mind. Additionally, inspired by the work of famed animator Hayao Miyazaki, the art style combines soft, painterly backgrounds with simple, memorable characters and smooth animations.
