The new trailer invites players into a meticulously crafted world where questing, looting, exploration, reputation, and character development intertwine to create a deeply experiential experience. Mirthwood stands out by emphasizing skill development through action; as players interact with the world, their abilities improve, unlocking unique skill cards that further tailor the game to individual preferences.
The game further expands its horizons by allowing players to recruit NPC companions, facing the myriad dangers lurking in the shadows of this mystical world. But that’s not all; Bad Ridge Games also introduced a new mechanic — falconry. This unique feature allows players to bond with birds, which will not only aid in discovering hidden treasure but will also play a crucial role in navigating Mirthwood’s complex landscapes.
The Freelands encompass many different landscapes, from charming villages and lush forests to harsh deserts and snowy mountain peaks—meaning you will travel through diverse environments during your adventure.
