New Multiplayer Brawler Bunraku Revealed for Switch 2, PS5 and PC

Announced by Colombian developer Efecto Studios, Bunraku is a fast-paced competitive action game heading to Steam, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game places you in magical stage performances where legendary ninja warriors battle for glory in front of a live audience.

Every fight takes place on a theatrical stage, with spectators reacting dynamically to what’s happening. Successful attacks, perfectly timed parries, and dramatic comebacks all influence the crowd, making matches feel more like performances than traditional arena battles.

Combat itself is built around speed and precision. You can dash across the stage to eliminate opponents in a single strike, counter incoming attacks with parries, and collect scrolls that unlock powerful ninjutsu abilities capable of changing the course of a match.

Bunraku supports up to eight players both online and locally, creating plenty of opportunities for chaotic multiplayer showdowns. The developers describe each battle as a contest of skill where timing, positioning, and quick reactions matter just as much as offensive power.
