Ukrainian developer Pushka Studios has officially announced its debut title Grind Survivors during the Awesome Indies showcase at Gamescom 2025. Published by Assemble Entertainment, this action-packed roguelike combines the intense, wave-based combat of the survivor genre with deep looter-shooter progression, all set within a brutal, demon-infested world.

In Grind Survivors, you take on the role of armored demon hunters battling relentless hordes of hellspawn across a variety of biomes, from scorched cities to burning forests. The gameplay emphasizes fast-paced, bullet-hell action, where every run offers a unique and chaotic experience.

At the heart of the game’s replayability is its procedural loot generation, which provides a constant stream of weapons and items, such as cursed relics and demon-forged shotguns, each with randomized stats and affixes. The game also features a high-risk, high-reward crafting hub called “The Forge”, where you can merge, reroll, or destroy gear to enhance your firepower.

While the game is set to release on PC and consoles in 2026, a free Steam playtest is currently available for players to dive into the chaos early.
