During The MIX Fall Games Showcase, Bit Kid revealed a new trailer for WOLFHOUND, a sci-fi World War II Metroidvania. From the developers of Chasm, this new game will have players fighting against Axis abominations and is planned for a 2026 release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
In WOLFHOUND, you step into the boots of Captain Chuck “WOLFHOUND” Rossetti, who is sent on what he expects to be a routine mission to infiltrate an uncharted island in the Bermuda Triangle. But after a crash landing, he discovers a grotesque nightmare: the island is home to the horrific experiments of the mad Nazi scientist, Dr. Steiner.
The new trailer revealed a variety of bizarre enemies, from mutant rats to a massive armored bodyguard and globs of flesh. To survive, you must scavenge for weapons and ammo inside the enemy’s fortress. You can even turn Dr. Steiner’s powerful experimental weapons, like a railgun, against his own creations. You will also find air-dash boots and a jetpack to scale difficult passages, allowing you to explore the mysterious island and prevent Nazi world domination.
