Indie developer RexLabo has announced that its upcoming narrative-driven survival adventure Nova Antarctica will be published by PARCO GAMES, the new games label established by Japanese cultural giant Parco. Nova Antarctica is currently in development for PC via Steam and is scheduled to launch in Winter 2025.

Set 900 years after a global collapse, Nova Antarctica tells the story of a lone child drawn south by a mysterious signal. The game challenges you to endure the world’s most unforgiving landscape while uncovering the secrets hidden beneath the ice. The gameplay combines core survival mechanics, crafting, and exploration with the ability to befriend various animal companions, making adaptation and persistence key to uncovering the mysteries of the frozen continent.

Founded in 1969, Parco has long been a centerpiece of Japan’s cultural and creative industries, known for blending fashion, art, and retail through its shopping malls and galleries. With the launch of PARCO GAMES, the company is extending that legacy into a new field, focusing on championing titles that exhibit artistry, culture, and innovation.
