In Piece by Piece, the debut title from Neon Polygons Studios and upcoming puzzle-platformer, every level begins shattered into jigsaw-like fragments, forcing you to rebuild the world before you can cross it. Set to launch on Steam on March 13, 2026, the game introduces 100 handcrafted levels designed around this central mechanic.
At the start of each stage in Piece by Piece, the environment is broken apart into separate puzzle pieces. Platforms, walls and pathways are disconnected, leaving you unable to progress. The solution is not simply jumping and running, but rearranging the world itself.
You connect and disconnect pieces to rebuild paths and reshape obstacles in real time. Some levels require careful alignment to create safe landing zones, while others demand creative repositioning to unlock hidden routes.
As the levels progress, new mechanics deepen the challenge. Portals allow for teleportation across fragmented spaces, creating layered puzzles that mix spatial reasoning with timing. Mining tools let you break through certain blocks, opening alternate routes or clearing blocked paths. Rotating puzzle pieces adds another dimension, requiring you to consider orientation as well as placement.
