Publisher Another Indie has revealed its newest game Philna Fantasy, a pixel-art RPG that mixes classic 16-bit style with fast and modern action. The game takes place on the colorful continent of Votland and is set to launch on Steam on January 15, 2026. Built as a focused 15-hour adventure, Philna Fantasy puts a strong focus on exploration, clever puzzles, and deep crafting systems.

Combat plays a central role in the experience and is designed to feel quick, responsive, and skill-based. At the start of the game, players can choose from four different classes, each offering its own combat style and strengths. As the journey continues, characters can be shaped even further through equipment upgrades and rare loot. These items do more than boost stats, as they can change how abilities work and open up new ways to fight, letting players adjust their build to match their preferred playstyle.

Progression is closely tied to crafting and upgrading gear. Resources found while exploring the world are always useful and can be turned into weapons, potions, or magical gems that improve a character’s abilities. This system encourages players to search every corner of Votland, as hidden rooms and secret dungeons often hold materials that can make a real difference in battle.

Towns and settlements are filled with characters who offer side quests and optional challenges. Completing these tasks rewards players with gold, equipment, and rare items that help prepare them for tougher areas ahead. Outside of combat, players will also face traps and environmental puzzles that require careful thinking to unlock ancient paths and hidden rewards.
