Publishers 2P Games and Orca Layout have announced their new title, Raining City Millions Recollections, an investigative visual novel. This comes after their well-received “girls love” story title The Chrono Jotter. The new game is set to release on Steam on August 26th.
The story of Raining City Millions Recollections unfolds in a style similar to The Chrono Jotter. Players will experience a dark, mysterious narrative combined with investigation mechanics. You’ll explore the city, tracking clues using your in-game smartphone, and navigate complex relationships with both otherworldly creatures and humans. While some characters may seem friendly, not everyone will have good intentions, especially with so much wealth magically appearing from your hand.
Investigation plays a central role in Raining City Millions Recollections. Your choices about where to go in Egret City will directly affect how quickly events in the story unfold. Your decisions in the story and your relationships with other characters will impact your wealth. The amount of coins you have as you progress through the narrative will ultimately determine the ending of the game.
