City puzzler River Towns launches on Steam today

River Towns, a Tetris-like strategy game from Frogsong Studios, has officially launched on Steam today. The game is available for €14.99, with a 10% launch discount temporarily reducing the price to €13.49.

In River Towns, players place differently shaped buildings and try to fit them into limited space. The game features three districts, each with its own set of building shapes that are randomly shuffled. The unique architecture of each district comes together to form small riverside towns. As the town grows, more inhabitants move in, bringing life to this old and abandoned world.

With each town you build, the world becomes increasingly green. At the end of each level, players earn a gold, silver, or bronze rating based on their performance. Collect enough points, and you can progress to the next world. The game also includes a Level Editor, allowing players to create and customize their own levels. Designing unique towns lets you experiment with different district layouts and challenge yourself—or other players—to solve your creations.
