Development studio Lost Pilgrims has announced that their RPG game, Vagrus: The Riven Realms, will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on March 31st. The game was first released in Early Access for PC via Steam and GOG in July 2020, and fully launched in October 2021. Now, it is coming to wider platforms, bringing its dark story and strategic elements to players worldwide.
Vagrus: The Riven Realms offers a wide array of stories through events, encounters, and quests, where every decision can have far-reaching consequences on both your party and the world around you. You can choose your character’s background, whether as a trader, mercenary, or explorer, and collaborate with various factions, follow rumors and trade opportunities, and gain wealth, fame, and hidden knowledge.
Combat in the game takes place within a turn-based system, where positioning and support are key to success. You utilize different character skills and leadership abilities to overcome numerous enemies, whether human or monstrous. In addition to combat, resource management is a vital aspect of the game. Planning your journey, monitoring supplies, morale, and crew energy are crucial for survival in this relentless world.
The game also offers a wide selection of companions, each with unique skills, backgrounds, and personal quests that can evolve throughout the game. Companions can take on different roles in the caravan, such as Chief Scout, Guard Captain, or Treasure Hunter. Furthermore, you can ally with powerful factions that shape the Riven Realms through their influence on trade, warfare, and intrigue.
