Kniv Studio has officially confirmed that STARDUST: Wish of Witch will launch on May 28, 2026 on PC via Steam and if you’re into tactical RPGs with strong pixel-art presentation, this is probably one worth paying attention to.
The game is a turn-based SRPG that mixes classic strategy combat with cinematic storytelling and surprisingly fluid pixel animations. Right away, what stands out most is the visual presentation. Instead of relying purely on nostalgia, the developers seem focused on making every battle and story moment feel dramatic, almost like you’re playing through an animated fantasy series built entirely out of pixel art.
Gameplay-wise, the game builds on traditional SRPG mechanics but adds a card-based system designed to make combat feel more dynamic. According to the developers, this should make the experience approachable for newcomers while still giving strategy veterans enough depth to experiment with builds and tactics.
From what’s been shown so far, STARDUST: Wish of Witch feels like one of those projects that really understands why people still love classic SRPGs, but it also seems determined to modernize the presentation and pacing for newer audiences.
