Starlight Re:Volver, a roguelike action RPG by Pahdo Labs, brings the energy of an anime series, giving players the chance to join a colorful team of magical heroes. Developed by a team that includes former Riot Games talent, the title is planned for Early Access release on PC via Steam in 2025.

Playing the game feels like jumping into an explosive anime opening. You’ll control a squad of four characters, each with unique powers, as you fight your way through enemy-filled stages. The latest trailer, shown at The PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted, introduces the cast: a pink-haired girl wielding a massive hammer, a blonde heroine with dual pistols, a green-haired boy with a powerful rifle, and a floating spellcaster. Whether you play solo or in four-player co-op, the action is fast, colorful, and designed to keep you on edge.

The story is set in Nishi, a magical island metropolis full of charm. Players can also enter So Mi, a dreamlike alternate world packed with monsters. Starlight Re:Volver embraces its roguelike elements with a progression system that lets you collect Charms and items that modify abilities.

The art style blends League of Legends influences with high-octane anime aesthetics, filled with explosions and combos that shatter parts of the environment, all showcased in the trailer below.
