ESDigital Games and developer Storm in a Teacup have announced the official release date for Steel Seed, which will be available on April 10, 2025, for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. A new game trailer provides insight into the action and stealth parts of the gameplay, as well as the parkour and narrative that await you in this title.
Steel Seed is set in a dark sci-fi world where humanity is on the brink of extinction. The main protagonist, Zoe, along with her flying drone KOBY, explores the depths of a hostile underground facility in search of answers and the key to humanity’s survival. The game features a hand-crafted world that combines high industrial landscapes.
Furthermore, it combines stealth, parkour, and dynamic combat. Using shadows, distractions, and the environment is crucial for avoiding or neutralizing enemies, while dynamic battles take place against various enemy types and challenging bosses. Zoe’s abilities can be upgraded through three different skill trees with a total of 40 upgrades.
Carlo Ivo Alimo Bianchi, CEO and Creative Director of Storm in a Teacup, highlighted that Steel Seed is the result of the passion, creativity, and dedication of the entire team: “This game is our dedication to all fans of the stealth-action genre who enjoy strategies and challenges. We have spent years working on it, and we can’t wait for players to experience it.”
