A mysterious crystal, a sick brother, and a medieval world full of secrets, Two Realms: Whispers from the Rift promises to be an unmissable game for fans of the point-and-click genre. This newly announced title, created by a small two-person indie studio from Prague, brings a dark, emotional story in beautiful pixel art. The game is set to release on Steam in early 2026.
You play as Tobias, a young man from a peaceful fishing village whose life is turned upside down when he and his younger brother find a strange crystal. However, his brother mysteriously falls ill, prompting Tobias to set out on a desperate search for answers, immersing himself in a world of dark forces. The story, which will last between five and ten hours, is full of twists and emotional weight, inspired by classics such as Black Mirror and Kathy Rain.
What makes Two Realms special is its focus on modernizing point-and-click adventures without the frustration. Developers Jaromír Janisch and Tomáš Létal focused on puzzles that make sense, based on logical character choices. Whether you are solving a puzzle or talking to characters like Thaddeus, a law-obsessed mage, or Severin, a messy mystic who is loyal to a fault, the gameplay is intuitive yet still challenging.
