Whimside, previously known as Kimera, is a relaxing creature-collecting game designed to sit at the bottom of your screen, letting you play while you work, study, or watch videos. Although it doesn’t have a release date yet, it will be available on PC via Steam.
In Whimside, you can capture and raise adorable creatures known as chimeras. As you progress and complete goals, you’ll unlock new areas and encounter even more interesting creatures. Each biome introduces new traits to collect and mix, allowing you to experiment with different combinations to create your ideal creatures.
Extensive Twitch integration adds another layer of enjoyment, enabling streamers and their communities to interact directly with the game. Viewers can help locate rare chimeras, and the more engaged they are, the greater the in-game benefits. Bonuses and boosts scale with viewer participation, and special in-game events occur during hype trains.
This title can be compared to Pokémon in terms of creature collecting and breeding, but with a more laid-back approach.
