Morbid Metal, the upcoming game from SCREEN JUICE, combines hack-and-slash action with rogue-lite elements, allowing players to shapeshift between four unique characters for powerful combo attacks. Set in a futuristic world, the game challenges you to fight through dangerous environments filled with deadly machines and intense boss encounters.
Quickly switching between characters is key to adapting to various combat situations, with each form offering unique abilities. This gives players the freedom to experiment and chain attacks for maximum impact. As you progress, you’ll traverse semi-randomized levels and explore varied biomes such as wastelands and overgrown ruins.
With its rogue-lite systems, Morbid Metal introduces the challenge of permanent loss upon defeat, encouraging players to refine their strategies. Progression grants powerful upgrades, and every run brings new challenges as you delve deeper into this dystopian world.
The game does not yet have a release date but will be available for PC via Steam.
