Roguelite RPG Autobattler He Is Coming to be Published by Hooded Horse

Hooded Horse has announced a partnership with Chronocle, a Swedish development team, to add He Is Coming to its collection of strategy and tactical games. The game will be available for PC via Steam Early Access in 2025. He Is Coming is a roguelite RPG autobattler where players explore a procedurally generated fantasy kingdom, collect magical items, and prepare for the arrival of the Great Evil.

In He Is Coming, you begin your journey with only a sharp stick and a wish for death. Your mission is to prepare for the arrival of the Great Evil, a powerful threat looming over the kingdom. Every three days, you will face one of 30 powerful boss monsters, each with its own unique strengths and weaknesses. To survive, you must explore the kingdom, gather weapons, equipment, and magical items, and assemble a build specifically tailored to fight the upcoming bosses.

The game offers more than 350 possible items to collect, but due to limited inventory space, you’ll need to carefully choose what to keep and what to leave behind. During the day, monsters and wildlife are relatively passive, but at night, they become aggressive and hunt you. Campfires offer shelter, but resting means losing valuable experience and rewards.
