Physics-driven gladiator fighting game Gladio Mori will leave Steam Early Access and launch for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on September 16th, 2026.

Rather than relying on traditional health bars, Gladio Mori tracks injuries to individual muscles, arteries, limbs and internal organs. Damaged muscles reduce a fighter’s effectiveness, severed arteries cause gradual blood loss and a direct strike to a vital organ can end the fight immediately.

Weapons, armour and character bodies are governed by the game’s physics systems. Plate armour can prevent blades from cutting their wearer, requiring players to attack exposed areas and gaps rather than repeatedly striking the same protected location.

Another central feature is the move editor, which allows PC players to animate attacks by directly positioning their fighter’s body. Created moves can then be assembled into customised fighting styles and shared through the community gallery. Console players cannot use the editor but can download, combine and use moves created by the PC community.

Developed by Joonas Pirttikangas through the one-person Finnish studio Plebeian Studio, Gladio Mori originally entered Steam Early Access on November 26th, 2024. Its initial version already included the move editor, organ-based damage, 17 weapon sets, ten armour pieces, two arenas and local or online multiplayer.
