Set deep within a genetic research lab, this twin-stick shooter puts you in the role of a scientist trapped in a nightmare. The official co-op demo is now available on Steam, providing a taste of the intense gameplay that awaits you.
As a top scientist at Protagenics, an advanced genetic research lab, you were working to solve the global food crisis. Your team pushed ethical boundaries by using gene editing to create livestock that grows 100 times faster than ordinary animals. But when the experiment is mysteriously sabotaged, a terrifying creature is unleashed: a virally spreading mass of tendrils that devours everything in its path.
Demon Spore offers both solo and co-op modes, allowing you to team up with up to three friends in local co-op. You will need to carefully choose your character and role, as teamwork is crucial for survival in the tentacle-filled hell. It’s vital to watch each other’s backs, share resources, and strategically outsmart the creature. The lab is full of tools and systems you can repurpose to slow the creature’s spread or create distractions.
