At this point, I’ve gotten used to accepting the fact that every game that comes out of the Oro Interactive “kitchen” will be a success. Their new title Roadside Research, a co-op simulator set in a gas station by Cybernetic Walrus studio, has just received its first trailer. It introduces us to the hilarious premise: you take on the role of aliens disguised as humans, running a gas station in the middle of nowhere in the USA while secretly planning an invasion.

Namely, your task is to blend in by performing everyday chores like pumping gas, stocking shelves, and serving food to travelers. But beneath it all lies a secret mission: collecting data on humans to prepare for a full-scale invasion. You must balance running the gas station and keeping customers happy to upgrade hidden research stations for data processing, all while strange behavior might attract government officials.

This title offers everything you can expect from a classic simulation, but thanks to the multiplayer experience, it will allow you to encounter truly weird and bizarre situations. In less than a week since the announcement, the game has also accumulated more than 60 thousand wishlists on Steam, where it will be available later this year.
