Chimera Entertainment has released the Celestial Church expansion for its strategy game Songs of Silence, and it is available now on PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG. This update marks an important step forward in the game’s Early Access journey and adds a large amount of new content for players to explore.
The expansion was created in direct response to player feedback, especially requests for a deeper and more detailed story. Since entering Early Access 18 months ago, Songs of Silence has reached more than 300,000 players and earned praise for its mix of turn-based strategy, real-time battles, and art style.
At the heart of the update is a new story campaign that expands the game’s narrative. Players can experience four new story chapters, adding over six hours of singleplayer content. These chapters explore new conflicts and themes within the world of Songs of Silence, giving more context to the war-torn land and the forces shaping its future.
The expansion also introduces the Celestial Church as a fully playable faction. This new faction can be used in multiplayer matches and skirmish modes and brings its own style of play. It includes unique units, special abilities, and new cards that change how battles unfold. The update also adds a new soundtrack, hidden secrets, and small surprises for players who enjoy digging deeper into the game.
Songs of Silence takes place in a fantasy world torn apart by war and threatened by a strange force known as the Silence. With this new expansion, both longtime players and newcomers have a reason to return to the battlefield and discover more of the story, strategy, and conflict shaping this evolving world.
