Paralives Reaches One Million Copies Sold Just One Month After Launch

If you enjoy independent indie game coverage, consider supporting Indie-Games.eu on Patreon. It helps keep the site independent.

Paralives has officially crossed one million copies sold on Steam, and it achieved this milestone in roughly a month. The life simulation game launched into Early Access on May 25 and quickly exceeded expectations. Within hours it had already sold hundreds of thousands of copies, and the momentum never slowed.

Paralives began as a solo project led by Canadian developer Alex Massé before growing into a small studio supported largely by community funding through Patreon. Players have been drawn to its flexible building tools, detailed character creation system, and focus on player freedom.

Despite the impressive sales figures, the team insists this is only the beginning. The Early Access roadmap includes major additions such as pets, weather systems, vehicles, gardening, and expanded town customization, all planned as free updates rather than paid DLC.
