Developers Sunny Lab and publisher Silver Lining Interactive have confirmed that The Witch’s Bakery will launch worldwide on August 20, 2026, bringing its cozy baking adventure to Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions are also planned.

The game follows Lunne, a young witch who moves to modern-day Paris to fulfill her dream of opening a magical bakery. You will manage the bakery, explore a beautifully illustrated version of Paris, and build relationships with local residents while using enchanted pastries to help solve their personal struggles.

Gameplay combines bakery management with exploration and light RPG mechanics. You will prepare French-inspired pastries infused with magic, uncover hidden supernatural locations throughout the city, and gradually unlock new stories by helping customers overcome emotional challenges.

Adding to the game’s atmosphere is an original musical composition by acclaimed harpist and composer Cécile Corbel, best known for creating the soundtrack to Studio Ghibli’s The Secret World of Arrietty. The development team says her music was chosen to give the opening sequence the feel of a classic animated film.

Alongside the digital release, physical editions for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 are now available for pre-order, with every copy including an exclusive digital cookbook featuring real French-inspired recipes created by a professional pastry chef.
