Rebellion Developments has confirmed that Alien Deathstorm will launch in spring 2027 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The action-horror first-person shooter will also be available through Game Pass from day one.

Players take control of an Engineer sent to investigate a remote off-world colony after it loses contact with Earth. The assignment quickly turns into a fight for survival as a planetary mega-storm tears through the settlement while hostile alien creatures spread across its damaged facilities.

The latest footage focuses on the Reactor mission, which takes place midway through the campaign. Players must diagnose faults, restore a malfunctioning fission reactor and decide how to approach objectives while aliens adapt, stalk and attack according to the situation.

Rebellion has shown pistols, submachine guns and shotguns alongside upgrade blueprints for optics, stocks, barrels and magazines. The Engineer can also use a repair hammer in close combat, while flares, grenades, health injectors and a Geiger Scanner provide additional survival options.

Alien Deathstorm can be wishlisted through Steam and the Microsoft Store. Readers looking for another claustrophobic horror shooter can also read our coverage of Gutted: Infested Crypts.
