New open-world survival game Under a Rock has been announced

Publisher Gameforge and developer Nordic Trolls unveiled their new title Under a Rock during the PC Gaming Show. The game is coming to PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. In this open-world survival game, players will be able to build, craft, and explore to survive on a mysterious and dangerous island.

This game evokes the atmosphere of the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth, but in a cartoon-like style, where you will explore an exotic and strange new land—a world enveloped in mystery that has taken a completely different evolutionary path, with dangerous and exotic creatures roaming freely.

In the game, we will be able to build our own base, explore dark caves, swim through underwater environments, and walk across a diverse surface world, facing a multitude of unique challenges and discovering much-needed resources. Additionally, it will be possible to tame and ride creatures.

Under a Rock uses procedural generation to provide a unique gaming experience every time. With a multiplayer co-op option available for over 10 players and an extremely diverse character creator, we will be able to immerse ourselves together in a huge world built on Unreal Engine 5.
