It was announced today that the open-world sandbox survival game Soulmask will launch its demo version at the Steam Next Fest on February 5th.

Soulmask plunges you into a truly primitive land, filled with ancient tribes, rituals, mysterious civilizations, and all sorts of ancient relics. The game isn’t just about surviving against the world and its creatures to become the ultimate hunter; Soulmask takes it to the next level by introducing a tribe system. This system helps you start from scratch, build your tribe, and defend against enemies.

You can recruit almost any wild NPC in the game as a member of your tribe. With smart AI-powered pathfinding and customizable tasks, you can seamlessly organize your tribe’s work. Also, the daily routines and entertainment of your tribe members, along with a diverse spectrum of personalities and preferences, will make your tribe feel full of life.

Furthermore, Soulmask introduces a realistic style of primitive combat with 8 weapon categories and over 50 combat skills that correspond to action modules. When facing different opponents in battle, you need to carefully consider which weapon and action to use and which part to target for attacks. Naturally, the game also features various bosses.

As a central theme in the game, Soulmask boasts a unique mask feature. Collecting and expanding your collection of masks not only defines the essence of the game but also enriches the experience of exploring the world. Specifically, the game contains various masks, each with different forms and unique functions.

Soulmask will be available on PC via Steam this year.
