The stylish 2D platformer Worldless is getting a numbered physical release from Limited Run Games. This game, made by the Barcelona-based indie team Noname Studios, is currently available digitally on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox consoles. Worldless successfully blends Metroidvania-style exploration with a unique active turn-based combat system.
Upon its release, Worldless was recognized by critics and players alike for its innovative design and atmosphere. It holds a strong 80% score on OpenCritic, where it has been praised as a “gorgeous union of exploration and intense combat.” On Steam, the game maintains an impressive 95% positive rating from over 1228 user reviews, with players often highlighting its originality within the often-crowded Metroidvania genre.
To satisfy collectors, the physical edition is being offered exclusively for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. Specifically, the Standard Edition costs $34.99 and will include a full-color manual and reversible cover art. However, this is a limited-quantity, region-free release. Therefore, pre-orders are open now and will close on October 26, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET or 5 AM CET.
