Aloft Early Access Delayed to January 2025 as Developers Focus on Polish and Refinement

Astrolabe Interactive Inc. has announced that their upcoming game Aloft, originally planned for Early Access in Fall 2024, will now launch in January 2025. The team made this decision after careful consideration, aiming to give the game more time for fine-tuning and polishing.

In their statement, the developers expressed their desire to deliver an exceptional experience even in Early Access. They reassured fans that the delay will ensure a higher level of quality, stating: “We want your first leap into the skies of Aloft to delight you.” The extra time will be spent refining the game so players can enjoy their adventure from the very beginning.

Aloft is a cozy survival title set among the clouds, where players can transform islands into flying ships and explore a vast open sky. The game emphasizes positive action and creativity, allowing you to gather resources, build dreamlike homes, and care for animals while fighting the corruption threatening each island’s ecosystem.

The game also supports co-op play for up to eight players. Aloft has already attracted significant attention, with over 300,000 Steam wishlists.
