After being among the first games to receive support from Outersloth’s new indie game fund Battle Suit Aces, a card-battling RPG, has fully revealed its launch date. The mecha-focused title will be released on October 7 for Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5. It features a fully-voiced cast of over 50 characters and a hand-drawn art style that will be familiar to fans of developer Trinket Studios’ previous game, Battle Chef Brigade.

This game blends rich and deep gameplay with mechanics like card combat, deck-building, and crafting. It’s a character-driven RPG where you’ll lead a crew against a star-consuming threat. As you play, you’ll recruit ace pilots, upgrade their mecha Battle Suits, and build meaningful friendships. The story is a branching narrative that changes based on the factions you support and the relationships you form.

The game is packed with over 50 plot-driven and character-focused missions, where you’ll face everything from conflicts with old friends to psychedelic dream battles. The 5 vs. 5 card-battling system is designed to be fast-paced, streamlined, and rewarding. You can also customize your ship’s hull with the Pilot Placement System to optimize your battle strategy and give your pilots the winning edge.

“We can’t wait for you to start exploring another enormous world from our team. And meeting so, so many charming, goofy, and kind characters”, said Trinker Studios on Steam.
