Publisher SelectaPlay and developer Nakama Game Studio have announced that Bubble Ghost Remake, a revamped version of the beloved classic from the Nintendo Gameboy and Commodore 64 of the late ’80s, will be released on March 27th.
The game will be available for PlayStation 5, in addition to the previously announced PC versions (via Steam and the Epic Games Store) and Nintendo Switch. This magical adventure promises a blend of nostalgia and new surprises, taking players back to the golden age of platformers.
Besides the digital version, you can enjoy special physical editions. A Standard Edition will be available in North America and Europe, while a Collector’s Edition (Europe only) will include exclusive content such as a physical copy of the game for Nintendo Switch, an illustrated prequel comic, the soundtrack on CD, character stickers, and an acrylic standee that brings the in-game ghost to life.
Bubble Ghost Remake invites you to guide a small ghost and its bubble through an enchanted mansion full of dangers and challenges. This rebuilt version brings a fresh look and numerous new features, including new game modes, powerful bosses, collectibles, and hidden secrets. The goal is to uncover the story behind the ghost Heinrich Von Schinker, protect the bubble through the rooms of the mysterious castle, and solve over 40 skillful levels and puzzles.
Among the new modes are Story, Arcade, Challenge, and Speed Run, while the Hall of Fame allows competition for a spot among the legends of Bubble Ghost Remake. Completely revamped graphics and sound bring the magical world of the castle to life, and various achievements can be unlocked and scores compared with the world’s best players.
