CCP Games has officially unveiled EVE Frontier, an ambitious space survival game offering players freedom, challenge, and meaningful consequences in a vast universe. Set within a collapsing civilization, players awaken from hibernation as the last remnants of humanity. With society in ruins and hostile drone swarms roaming the galaxy, survivors must fight for control of the remaining resources.
In EVE Frontier, players will navigate a harsh and dangerous universe. The game places them in a shattered region of space, warped by black holes and filled with rogue AI that threatens to destroy everything. All of this unfolds on a single-shard server, meaning all players share the same universe, creating an environment where every encounter is shaped by player decisions. Whether using stealth tactics, strategic combat, or open warfare, survival depends on pilot skill and the choices players make.
You’ll explore the Frontier, gather resources, and upgrade your ships to endure the dangers ahead. Fuel will be essential for travel, while a dynamic economy allows the creation of unique currencies, marketplaces, and trade goods.
One of EVE Frontier’s key features is the Smart Assemblies system. This platform lets players build and program space infrastructure, from trading stations to defensive systems. Smart Assemblies also support third-party development, giving you the ability to create your own systems, missions, and even private economies within the game.
