Hooded Horse and Limbic Entertainment have announced Corsair Cove, a pirate-themed city builder that challenges players to construct a sprawling haven on dangerous cliffsides while waging war against the Crown. The game is scheduled to launch in 2026 on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.

Players begin stranded on a deserted island with nothing but shipwreck survivors and scraps. From these humble origins, they must construct bridges, ziplines, and pathways to connect production chains that span across great heights and distances. The game features over 50 different types of goods to manufacture, ranging from basic hardtack and ale to spyglasses, sabers, and peg-leg prosthetics. Keeping the pirate population satisfied proves essential, as crew members will abandon the cause if their needs are ignored for too long.

The seas surrounding your island hold both opportunity and danger. Players build ships, hire crews, and set sail to raid nearby islands for resources that cannot be produced at home. The waters contain legendary pirates to recruit, ancient temples to explore, and mythical creatures including monstrous whales and krakens. Turn-based naval combat allows you to intercept enemy ships, while defensive fortifications protect the island when the fleet is away.

Four distinct progression paths shape how players develop their pirate society. Notoriety, Empire, Seafaring, and Wealth each unlock different buildings, production chains, and ship types. Questlines task players with defeating the Crown through tactical engagements that depend on crew composition, ship selection, and resource management.
