Solo developer AuntyGames, in collaboration with publisher Future Friends Games, announced Gourdlets Together during this year’s Wholesome Direct Showcase. This multiplayer sequel to her beloved cozy sandbox game, Gourdlets, will be available for PC via Steam in 2025, although the exact release date has not yet been confirmed.
In this sequel, you will also design your own peaceful island and create a colorful home for your Gourdlets. However, this is all upgraded with multiplayer, where players can visit friends’ islands, build alongside each other, and chat.
The new game also adds a new fishing mechanic, allowing you to cast lines and catch various fish. You can then spend your earnings on cute additions, buildings, and decorations to personalize your island. Although Gourdlets Together is a standalone game, it builds upon the success of Gourdlets, which holds a “Very Positive” 93% rating on Steam, based on 1,579 reviews.
