Little Nemo and The Guardians of Slumberland Opens the Dream Gates in March

After a successful Kickstarter and several years of development, Little Nemo and The Guardians of Slumberland is finally set to launch on Steam on March 31. Inspired by the works of Winsor McCay, the hand-animated 2D metroidvania transports players into the colorful dreamscape of Slumberland. Once a peaceful realm inside young Nemo’s imagination, the world is now under siege by a creeping force known as the Oblivion, a mysterious corruption threatening to consume everything in its path.

ICARUS: Console Edition Delayed to March 26 for Final Polish

The team behind ICARUS: Console Edition has announced a short delay, pushing its release from February 26 to March 26. While the console version for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 is described as stable, developers identified areas requiring further refinement. Rather than launch with known issues, the studio opted for additional polish time.

PC Building Simulator 2 Heads to PS5 and Xbox Series

PC Building Simulator 2, originally released on PC via the Epic Games Store in 2022, is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on February 26. Published by Epic Games Publishing and developed by Spiral House, the sequel expands on the original with over 1,200 components, deeper hardware simulation, water cooling systems, benchmarking tools, RGB customization, and business management in Career Mode.

.hack//Z.E.R.O. Announced as Self-Published Action RPG by CyberConnect2

CyberConnect2 has announced .hack//Z.E.R.O., a new entry in the long-running .hack series. In a significant shift, the game will be fully self-published by CyberConnect2 with permission from IP holder Bandai Namco Entertainment, marking a rare move toward greater creative autonomy for the studio. Set once again between a virtual MMO world and reality, the project promises a “novel RPG experience” infused with what the studio calls “100 percent pure CyberConnect2 spirit.” No platforms or release date have been announced yet, but the project has reportedly been in development for ten years.

Darkhaven Kickstarter Goes Live with Pre-Alpha Demo

Moon Beast Productions, founded by Diablo veterans including Erich Schaefer, has launched the Kickstarter for Darkhaven. Rather than offering a polished vertical slice, the team has released what they describe as an “unfiltered” pre-alpha demo. Players can experience several hours of sandbox ARPG gameplay and level the Witch class to level eight across three skill trees.

Tiny Garden Blooms on Nintendo Switch

After its PC debut, Tiny Garden launches on Nintendo Switch on February 26. The relaxed farming puzzle game centers on cultivating plants inside a 90s-style clam-shell toy. The Switch version includes the Summer Breeze Cosmetic Pack DLC with new furniture, stickers, and decorative content.

Dark Pals: The 1st Floor Marks Horror Skunx’s Game Debut

Skunx Games, founded by Horror Skunx creator Winston van Graafeiland, has announced Dark Pals: The 1st Floor, a first-person mascot horror puzzle adventure coming to Steam in 2026. Set in an abandoned children’s mental health asylum from the 1980s, players explore eerie corridors alongside Inky the Ink Blaster, a companion manifested through a toy-like ink gun. Nintendo Switch 2 Virtual Boy Accessories Support VR Titles

The Nintendo Virtual Boy is coming to Nintendo Switch Online’s Nintendo Classics catalog on February 17. To play Virtual Boy games, Nintendo is releasing two headset accessories. One headset will be a full-size Virtual Boy mock-up. The other is a cardboard version. According to Video Games Chronicle, these accessories will work not only with Virtual Boy games but also with existing Nintendo Switch games that support VR. Nintendo, as part of its Labo lineup, allowed players to build their own cardboard VR headset.
