Indie developer and publisher SWAIN GAMES has announced the early access release date for DEATHWATCHERS on July 12, 2024. This title is the official sequel to the popular horror game DEATHWATCH.

In the original game, players observed haunted locations, documented paranormal events, and used various tools to collect data and eliminate supernatural threats. DEATHWATCHERS elevates the experience, offering a 4-player online co-op mode promising fun, excitement, and fear.

The goal is to avoid dangerous entities while discovering the necessary components for an exorcism ritual. Precision is crucial, as using the wrong ingredients can lead to terrifying consequences. The game also features a single-player mode. You can choose between a new modern mode and the legacy CLASSIC mode, which includes traditional DEATHWATCH gameplay in fresh environments.

The game includes dynamic content, with levels generated uniquely for each session and random events that keep players on edge. Atmosphere is a major focus, building tension through sound cues, subtle scares, and the constant feeling that something terrible is about to happen. You’ll travel to various locations, set up equipment, record events, monitor through cameras, place lighting, and take photographs for documentation.

DEATHWATCHERS will be available on Steam.
