Demonschool, a school-life-themed tactical RPG inspired by Persona, Shin Megami Tensei, and Italian horror films, is now scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2025. Publisher Ysbryd Games and developer Necrosoft Games decided to delay the launch to allow more development time.

In the game, you take on the role of Faye, the heir to the last family of demon hunters. As a new college student, Faye must balance her studies with the challenges of confronting demons in order to survive a hellish semester. Explore mysterious events and resolve conflicts between worlds while building friendships with Faye’s classmates. Strengthen bonds with fellow demon-fighters to create powerful combinations in tactical battles inspired by Into the Breach.

Necrosoft Games shared that although they initially targeted a September 13 release, they realized the game wouldn’t fully meet their vision by that date. Instead of releasing a less polished version, they chose to delay the launch to early 2025. This extra time will allow them to add more content and enrich the game world.

Demonschool will be available on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S when it launches in early 2025.
