Indie developer GRUMPY has revealed the release date for DISORDER, an upcoming 3D roguelike dungeon-crawler. The game will launch on January 22, 2025, for PC via Steam, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
In DISORDER, you play as a girl who has lost her memory and must uncover the truth about her past while attempting to escape a mysterious department store. As she gradually confronts her trauma, the story unfolds through her escape attempts, revealing more about her true identity. The narrative focuses on healing, self-discovery, and personal growth, making each run a deeply personal experience.
The game features roguelike elements with ever-changing levels. The layout of the department store shifts every time you play, offering a fresh experience with each escape attempt. Visiting the “Gift Desk” grants you new abilities and strengthens you with every run, helping you inch closer to escaping the eerie building.
DISORDER is designed for multiple playthroughs, allowing players to enjoy the game without fear of failure. Even newcomers can progress thanks to upgrades that aid in advancement. For those seeking a challenge, experienced players can tackle harder objectives to test their skills.
