In a world filled with endless creative craft beers, one grumpy man is still on a determined quest for a single thing: a simple, regular pilsner. Arik Games has announced the sequel to its 2020 award-winning adventure game, Dude, Where Is My Beer?. The new game is titled Dude, Where Is My Beer? A New Hop, and a demo is now available on Steam.
In A New Hop, an evil Master Brewer has banned pilsner and is hunting down anyone who dares to drink it. Our mustachioed hero has a new plan: to enter a brewing contest to bring the beloved beer back. To do this, he’ll need to gather ingredients, find the right equipment, and even team up with a group of rebels known as “The Pilsner Front”. The game challenges you to defeat the “IPA regime” and bring pilsner back to the world.
The sequel brings back the beloved nostalgic point-and-click gameplay, beautiful comic-style art, and sense of humor. The adventure will take you on a bar crawl through the streets of Oslo, Norway, to defeat the evil brewer of “beverages that are NOT pilsners.” The game features 30 unique, pilsner-lacking locations to explore and puzzles to solve with a classic ’90s-style interface.
