Elflock Reveals First Gameplay Trailer, Focuses on Dialogue and Decisions

The indie game Elflock recently released its first gameplay trailer. This title is being developed by the small Hungarian team NovaSpere Studio. Crafted as a cinematic adventure in Unreal Engine 5, it’s inspired by Hungarian folklore and medieval traditions.

Set in a beautifully designed fantasy world, Elflock provides a narrative-driven single-player experience. The gameplay combines classic mechanics like exploration, inventory management, and puzzle-solving with fully voiced and animated dialogue trees, allowing you to uncover secrets, face challenges, and experience meaningful interactions with other characters.

The game’s dialogue and decisions have a major impact on the branching story, leading to multiple possible endings. Your actions, collected items, and the protagonist’s traits influence the available options, enriching the narrative experience. The plot follows a princess as she tries to help her father, the King, uncover betrayal within the royal court. During this journey, you will witness her emotional development and face difficult decisions that will ultimately affect the fate of the kingdom.

A demo version of Elflock will be available this summer, and the game can also be found on Steam.
