During Gamescom Opening Night Live’s preshow, developer Tandemi announced Begone Beast, a four-player top-down action game. It will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam in February 2025.
In Begone Beast, you’ll team up with other players to save the small town of Pennybrook, overrun by terrifying creatures from a nightmare world. A mysterious rift has opened beneath the town, unleashing hordes of monsters, and it’s up to you and your friends to fight back and protect its residents.
Choose from a cast of quirky characters, each with unique weapons and abilities. Enjoy short campaigns that end with exciting finales, perfect for replaying with different strategies. The game’s AI system, known as DAD, creates new challenges every time you play, with procedurally generated levels and unpredictable enemy encounters. You’ll also dive into hack-and-slash combat that’s easy to pick up.
